19th Women's & Youth World Championships in Bangkok
The 19th Women's & Youth World Championships in Bangkok were masterfully organised by the Thai Petanque Federation. The world junior champions were young players from Thailand, led by the world junior champion in precision shooting. Vietnam was world champion in the women's category. Belgium won the Women's Nations Cup, while Cambodia won the Junior Nations Cup.
